Largely technology-related, the businesses are managed through their investment company Blenheim Chalcot. The Blenheim Chalcot portfolio currently consists of 20 companies in multiple sectors. The combined group sales are in excess of £300m per annum and employing more than 3,500 people.
Charles was appointed Chair of OnSide Youth Zones in 2020, after serving as a Trustee for several years. He also chairs Future Youth Zone. Charles is also the chairman of Technology Trust, a social enterprise that helps more than 20,000 UK charities address the challenges of going digital.
