CarFinance247 driving the way for young people

We are delighted to announce that Carfinance247 have teamed up with OnSide Youth Zones to support our young people to the tune of £25,000.

Carfinance247 was founded by brothers Reg & Louis Rix in 2006, and is a privately owned business based in central Manchester, offering a wide range of car finance products. Today they are experiencing explosive growth by providing market leading rates and giving customers the choice & service they deserve.

Reg and Louis are now giving our young people the support they deserve with a kind donation of £25,000 which will support our growing Ambassador group of Game Changers.

Game Changers are a group of around 100 young people, who have been formed through the network of Youth Zones in Bolton, Wigan, Carlisle, Blackburn, Oldham, Manchester and  Wolverhampton as well as a number of passionate young people from London and they serve as the figureheads of OnSide future Youth Zones. They represent their Youth Zone in actioning any need for change and represent the Network at key events to spread the word of Youth Zones nationally.

As well as the support to Game Changers, Carfinance247 will also offer the opportunity for young people who have completed the Get a Job course to apply for their apprenticeship scheme.

The Get a Job course is a project funded by both AO Smile Foundation and Accenture Foundation UK. With their support our Youth Zones have been able to work with over 400 young people in the last 12 months, with 378 completing the course, going on to further education, training or achieving a job.

Reg and Louis jointly commented: “Here at CarFinance247 we want to support OnSide Youth Zones because we believe in giving back. We want to see all young people have an equal chance and OnSide’s work with young people matches the work we do around leadership, enterprise and employability.  We are excited about the future partnership.”
