‘The Way’ Branding Unveiled

26th November 2013 by OnSide 2 min

The vision of the Wolverhampton Youth Zone has now become a visible concept following the unveiling of The Way branding.

Young members of The Youth Zone Development Team announced that the Wolverhampton Youth Zone will be branded ‘The Way’, representing the 5 values to be upheld by the youth zone: unique, opportunity, supportive, welcoming and diverse.

The group of young people have been hard at work, learning about how branding works, formulating ideas and using their creativity, all in cooperation with local design firm Synaxis, who helped deliver the branding proposals.

The state of the art building itself will also reflect the ideas put forward by the young people in the group. The Way will include a range of engaging facilities such as a four-court sports hall, which will accommodate for football, basketball, tennis and badminton activities.

Steve Morgan, Chairman of The Way and The Morgan Foundation, said: “The young people who are on the Development Group have worked tremendously hard to come up with ideas about how their new youth zone should look and feel. The Way is for them, so it’s reallyimportant that they’re taking ownership of it like this, and we’re delighted with the brand that they’ve developed”

There has been plenty of anticipation surrounding The Way since the project received support by The Queen’s Trust and St James’s Place who donated £1m towards the development of the youth zone. We are very pleased with the fantastic branding work the young people have produced and can’t wait to get more young people from Wolverhampton involved in projects in the near future for The Way.
