Members of the Barking & Dagenham Young Peoples Development Group sat on an interviewing panel to interview candidates for the opening position of a Youth Engagement Worker for the upcoming Youth Zone in Barking and Dagenham. The panel consisted of four young people from the Young People’s Development Group, ready with strong questions. It was a fantastic opportunity for these young people to gain invaluable experience about how an interview is structured and gain confidence asking the prospective candidate questions.
After a successful day of interviews, the candidate was chosen and the young people were given the opportunity to inform the successful candidate of their success.
