What inspired you to join OnSide?

I had been working at Bolton Lads & Girls Club for around 20 years (minus a small break) and this opportunity arose and I felt it would allow me to be able to share my knowledge and skills across other Youth Zones and be more part of the Network.

What’s been a memorable moment you’ve had working with the team?

Being part of opening WEST Youth Zone and how we all worked so well together.

What was the first Youth Zone you visited and what did you think?

Apart from Bolton, I first visited 13 of them in my first 3 months and I was surprised at how similar but very different they all are!

What would be your go-to Youth Zone room and why?

I love the sensory room, however I tend to gravitate towards reception! On a personal note always love to check out what the gym is like!
