Take a Virtual TourWhen I first found out about OnSide I loved the concept of Youth Zones and I was very inspired by the idea of giving young people access to activities they wouldn’t otherwise be able to try.
Meeting a lovely volunteer at WEST earlier this year. The volunteer was teaching young people how to sew scrunchies. She told me how she’d only just learnt how to sew, and that she was trying to learn more so she could keep teaching the young people more things.
Blackburn – I thought it was amazing I’d never been anywhere comparable. I was genuinely blown away by the facilities for young people.
Salon/wellbeing room – it’s a great space for young people to relax, feel safe and have important conversations.
I love anything mountains/nature related. Whenever I can, I go rock climbing or go on a hike.
